STFCU’S 67th Annual Membership Meeting and Board of Directors Election

What to expect…

  • Only members in good standing will be allowed entry to the Annual Meeting. If you are not sure of the status of your account, call 985-643-1237 now to inquire. Members are considered the first named person on the account.

  • Check-in and doors open at 3:45 p.m. Meeting will be called to order promptly at 4:00 p.m. and typically concludes by 4:45 p.m.

  • When you enter cafeteria, pick a seat at any table that is not reserved and enjoy!

  • Door Prizes will be announced at the end of the meeting. You must be present to win.

Board of Directors Nomination & Election

At the 2024 Annual Meeting, four positions on the Board of Directors, each having a 2-year term, will be filled. Credit union members wishing to be considered for volunteer service on the Board of Directors should review the information and procedures outlined below. Election at the Annual Meeting will be held by ballot. There will be no nominations from the floor. Any member or incumbent wishing to be considered for a volunteer Board position must petition the Nominating Committee no later than March 8, 2024.

To be considered for volunteer service all candidates must meet the following specific minimum qualification standards:

  • Possess areas of knowledge or experience pertinent to the Credit Union’s future.

  • Must be a STFCU member in good standing.

  • Willing to accept responsibilities of elected office.

  • Able to act independently and objectively regardless of external

    relationships with other directors and employees.

  • Not an employee of the credit union or a competing financial institution.

  • Understand and accept the commitment of time for attendance at regular

    meetings, special meetings, planning sessions and educational workshops.

  • Agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office.
